A. If there had been reply to our letter of 16th January there would not

have been such a letter written. We sent a letter and we waited for a

reply for one week. We got no reply so we had to ask advice from the

Chinese members and we were asked to give them this letter. If we had

a reply to our letter the people in our Guild would not have been so

indignant and there would not have been a meeting held.
